The non-ticket Basketball Pro Fun Version is all about playing for “fun.” It is optimized for a non-redemption clientele that includes bars and other street locations. The dedicated Fun Version has a single front door design that supports one bill validator, along with two coin mechanisms. The ticket signage of the original redemption game has been removed, and “how to play” decals are placed where the ticket readouts are situated on the redemption version. Additionally, where the “big win” readouts are located at the top of the original game, there is only a “top score” readout on the Fun Version (here the best player can point to his Basketball Pro achievement!). Operators can add a cashless reader option to accept credit cards and mobile payments, which are becoming more common on amusement machines, and boost earnings.

Simple and addictively fun gameplay: press start button, wait for model toy truck to roll back to start position and push truck up the track, trying to align with the BIGWIN! marker to win the bonus. Tickets are won with every play, based on where the truck stops. Detailed graphics and sounds abound. The game borrows from a popular theme in the Jurassic Park movies: dinosaurs chasing trucks. The game’s objective is to “escape from the island.” The central components are two miniature off-road vehicle replicas that players push up the railed tracks. Branded the Redeem Machine™, this non-game utility ships ready to accept Andamiro’s SpongeBob, Minions and WWE game cards, as well as Bandai Namco’s DC Superheroes cards; its high-capacity solid-state HD supports expansion capabilities for additional game cards and items. The system recognizes bonus sets and awards “e-tickets” and points, accordingly. It’s compatible with popular swipe-card cashless systems, including Embed, Intercard and Sacoa, and ships with dual ticket dispensers for traditional “ticket” venues. There are several key benefits to adding a kiosk to a redemption operation. First, they help prevent card fraud; second, they securely store high-value trade-ins, reducing theft; and third, self-service operation eliminates the need for staff intervention, reducing bottlenecks at the redemption center. The Redeem Machine ships with dual screens (23? ea.). It can read barcoded and RFID cards.
